Got some new helper springs for the rear it with increase my sag and lower my ride height. It takes my sag to 42%.
There a four inch 28 pound rate the go block under normal load and hold my stake tight when it go to full droop.

Did some work on a new triple rate set up on the rear. I changed the first (primary spring) to a stiffer rate for the available shaft travel and transition point. I also set it for an adjustable preload/ride height. This way I can maintain my bottom out poundage.

I wish I new what I was doing with springs.. I have the triple rate works springs, I need to install a few more cross over spacers, but even then is still seems to bottom out..doesnt help that I am launching it 15' in he air over a 30' table top. I rebuild them last year and I feel like they just bottom out way to easy

Most likely an increase in valving will cure. May need stiffer valving springs valve Another option would be change out the bottom out bumper to taller one with higher force displacement curve. There 15 each and will increase you final rate alot. I'll dig up some data. This way you normal ride will be good and spring rate not too stiff and handle those jumps. Any idea on you you spring rates. Post up pics, inside ID or out side OD and wire size for each.

Since there works with no rebound it will be an easy install. Take it loose at the bottom of shaft. Remove spacer if there and install bumper. It could add 1500 pounds. Problem solved. It will still bottom however not so harsh. Then you can change springs in valve if need be with out upsetting the soft ride.

Here is a pic of the ones I use there 5/8" so you may need to source 1/2". It gives you an idea of the way they work in relation to added poundage. I think zero had posted some info on different types styles etc. You can see the progression rate for each depending on your set up and available shaft.

I wouldn't have any idea on spring, rates. they are just the stock blue spring and white spring that works puts on. I can see if I can get some measurements if I can get at the machine. garage is getting tight lol

Here is a before and after rebuild pic of them. I didn’t add all the cross over spacers

didn't want to clog your thread up with my stuff so I brought my old one back to life. I talked to the guy at works, but he's hard to follow, when I don't know what hes talking about half the time lol...if I had your knowledge then it would be easy to talk with him and make a plan. he is very knowledgable, im sure you two would have a good chat lol..

he aslo didn't want to believe me that I had triple rate shocks. I guess its kinda a rare thing, he said they usually only make them in dual rate

I don't mind. Last time I talked with works it was with Sandy. We chatted for at least three hours. I learned a lot.
If they don't have a different spring than the orifice has to be changed. That is the only other way to stiffen them up in valving. If check ball and spring is the same the orifice is the only thing left. I'm sure he will want them to rework that. There pretty smart, if they made a recommendation I would listen.
I'll check out your post.
