Question: On the fox shock ( air / coil over 2.0) on the lower hiem that is half inch what have you done to bolt it up to the pilot. Does fox supply you with the correct reducer and spacer or does one have to be made. Little help and include pics of lower mount if you can thanks. I know you wondering why so I'll tell ya. I have built new arms for my pilot and now can get 14.5 inches of travel and playing with a 16" set up. I want to purchase a fox 14 or 16 inch travel shock and build a shock relocate.

edit: I added some articulation pics

Thanks goes toi lutrev! I'm guessing the 1/2" copper tubing fits snuggly into the eye, and then the 10 metric bolt fits thru the inside! Trick is to have rubber o rings to help keep out dust, and cut tubing same size as the stock shock so as to not bend the plate of the knuckle holder thingie!

I made bushings for mine on my Pilot, thanks for the tubing tip, pretty sure FOX sells the bushings too.

I'm salivating waiting on pictures!!! I wonder if he made a jig so poor boys like me can make a set of these too? For experimental purposes only!!!

I made a few jigs. I post the one using stock arm part cut off. This one is +3 ( + 6 over stock) wide and moves the upright back 2". This one allows the use of stock shock and location or longer shock and stock locations. Just cut the arm weld in molly tube.

Here is the lay out difference of the two. I ordered material to bulid the new 16" travle set up should be here next week. Before I order the shocks I gota find a axle. If not I will have to go 14" using the atvr axle.
