Was it Lowrider that was the tractor expert, what year is this thing? Was told early to
mid 70's?

My other one is a 1955

My old deck was off a early 70's Cub Low Boy it was in pretty bad shape that is
why the owner took it off and replaced it with a new Woods, I bought it and
fixed it up made my own brackets for mounting, it is 60" it worked well, I kept
putting off buying a new Woods, they want like 1700 plus tax for a new one with
extra kit I need to make it work with my fast hitch in the back, this Cub just has
a draw bar so the fast hitch kit was not needed.

Nope just a mower I do have a factory 1 bottom plow and a 4' disc that came with my other CUB I use in place of a tiller but they are the IH Fast Hitch attachments not 3 point.

I used them to plow and disc up my 5 acres before I built here and planted grass :-)

I was out "in the country" near the Indiana line in Bryan, OH on Saturday and actually saw a guy on an old mid-size Cub tractor (it was yellow with a white hood, so assume it was a Cub), but he was also towing a 48"+ swisher mower next to it. It was like a 100"+ mow path!

Wow its been 10 years already tractor still running perfect, same battery, same tune up, same belts, oil changes and greasing is all the maintenance its received, it gets waxed once a season.

Reason I am updating this is the son was mowing last night and it threw the belt off, reinstalled adjusted seems ok guessing the belt was lose from stretching/wear and that caused it to come off, will start looking for a new belt this one is showing its age no idea the age of the belt know it was far from new when I bought the tractor/mower.
