They do make wireless speakers but they are primarily made for surround systems found in living rooms and they are expensive. If I were you, I'd pick up a set of speakers (w/ sub woofer) for a computer and just wire them in. You should be able to pick up a set real cheap ($20-30) at a garage sale or flea market or second-hand computer store....maybe even Evilbay??? Audio & TVs run low wattage so you might be able to find a cheap low-power coverter to run the whole system too. Are you doing a 12v or 110v set up for the entertainment system?

The entertainment system consist of one of my old computers, I already have about everything I need including the wireless keyboard and mouse, whole setup seem to work ok on the first trip only a few minor bugs to work out I am working on a better more permanent installation, I still need to get a video card with the TV card built in so in the future if I want to hook up a dish I can, it has a wireless card so if I find a hot spot I am online, DVD player for playing movies, at home I set it up where I can record TV shows then play them back on trips, I have hours of the History and Discovery channel, it has Three 250 gig drives for plenty of storage.

Once I get my act together with the helmet cam I will be able to put the video on DVD's each night but I need to learn the editing thing.

The computer will also be my mp3 player whilst on the road.

Whole thing is powered off a 12v to 120v inverter and runs off the house battery of the bus when its not running, when ever the generator is running its charging the battery.

Was thinking this morning I better cut the opening for the monitor bigger so it will accept a larger wide screen LCD soon as the prices drop to a reasonable price :-) The current 19" is a little small but it larger than my old TV-VCR combo I used in my other MH

Ok the wife says I need to paint the bus I guess she is tired of the two tone white and yellow lol

Here are some pictures before paint at Glamis 2007

Over a 5000 mile trip the POS bus performed flawlessly.:-)

I picked a sand tone or earth tone, what do you think?

Its hard to do colors with a camera so I took a dark and lite pic.

Go all one color, two tone? I would like to keep the roof white to keep it cooler inside.

Any photoshop gurus?

If it blends in to/with the desert how the heck is an old blind guy like myself supposed to find it after being in the sand all day? LOL I still think the above photo posted by myself would bring it into a retro look, and easy to spot!!! LMAO..
The sand/biege color does look good!!!!

This may seem quite obvious, however it is easy to forget as I've seen it happen many times; remember to put the trans in Neutral before you tow.

On another note, are you keeping the yellow and red warning lights on the front roof facia? Does the #45 on the front bumper mean anything or just left over from school district markings?

Tan looks MUCH better.

Yeah Ody_Stable and I were discussing the shifter and neutral tonight in the chat, my thought was to make a steel bracket that will hold shifter in neutral so if you hit a huge pot hole it cant jump into gear.

The red and yellow lights were also discussed and I am going to try and remove them, cover the holes and paint tomorrow, I hate them !

I assume this was bus 45 I have to check and see if I have any black paint left so I can repaint both the front and rear bumpers then the ole 45 will be gone, if not their is always next year . :-)

Wife was just asking if I still had your plywood in the garage....I do.

We need to plan on a January trip up to my house to get the bus cabs done. The new garage is 43' deep so the bus should fit just fine with plenty of room to work.

Finally starting drywall tomorrow! Ye-ha even.

43' deep?

Width and ceiling height?

Sounds more like a warehouse!

This garage is kinda split in two......hard to explain but one section is 43' deep by 32' wide with 2-12' x 12' OH doors and the other is 26' deep by 32' with a single 8x18 door. The 2 spaces are joined by a 14' opening and the ceilings are 14' at the doors tapering up to about 13' 4" at the back wall. This garage was suppost to be bigger than the last but the city wouldn't allow a front entry garage on the small section so I had to cut 10' x 32" off.....You know that hurt but I'll just have to shoe horn all my stuff in there.

Tom

NO....

After the last big trip west when I got home gas jumped to 2.50 a gallon then as you know up higher from their so I stopped all work on the bus project, no use wasting my time if I cant afford to drive it heh, I see gas is dropping again and hopefully will stay low for my next big trip west sometime this winter... Currently its fully useable its just not finished inside.
