I was sure you told me that there wasn't enough snow around your area to justify a sled, something change?

Correct, their is never enough snow to justify a real sled but their is enough to justify a beater sled, I usually keep a beater sled around to play with when it does snow, I sold my Yamahaha Vmax 540cc sled 4? years ago when we had a nice 12" snow, some guy knew I had the Vmax and offered me a price I could not refuse...

I havent found a deal on a beater until now, the Engine is this sled is the same Engine you had in what is now Toymans Drakart, it will also drop right into my Pilot :-)

Beater Sled..... (Where)

That one looks pretty damn nice to me...

Heck my beater is a 1974 440 arctic cat that has 1/2" of travel and so narrow that if you don't lean on each turn it will dump you right off the side...

Not to mention it has a bad habit of getting me about 1 mile from home before dying or quiting on me...

Nice one you snaged there...
Heck its even registred 2007 - You sure you didn't steal it....

More pictures, here are the clutches, see the white rust, how do you think the surfaces of the movable parts looks, all the sleds I have had that used the comet 102C looked like this and the movable parts were well worn out inside, this corrosion comes from setting outside or in a high humidity environment with heat cycles that allows moisture to condensate.

You have enough snow now hoser? We got at least 6in. here in Western IL. yesterday. My boys and I went for a short ride last nite but visibility was terrible with all the fresh powder coming over the hood, we will try it again today in between bowl games.

Not really, we got maybe 2" but it drifted so mostly its almost bare ground, its snowing now so I will probably be getting out the VW Baja for a spin around the farm, grand kid wants to play in the snow also so I will probably try pulling him on the sled with the Baja too.
