Hello
Did some fender repair
Pick up A cheap plastic welders from harbor Fright
Item # 41592 and some screen for cement block or brick work

Tools needed putty knife sheet steel shears and plastic welder

The weld stick that came with the welder I didn't like.
so I cut up some plastic from a old fl350 tub I had laying around

The main thing when doing this is to block up the back side of fender with wood or steel

Thanks For Looking

Wonder if you heated up the mesh with a torch until it was red hot then let it burn into the plastic until it was flush then finished it off as you did?

Yes you can I use to use a torch screw driver and putty knife to fix the plastic fenders and gas tanks
one time we where out camping and need to fix a gas tank I use part of the guys rear fender a screw driver
and camp fire . this was way bake in the late 80's and it still doesn't leak to this day.

Thanks SpeedChaser

This is timely. I just bought a project for the kids yesterday, and need to fix the fenders. What a coincidence.

thanks,

Jim :-)
