Post subject:  Crank shaft pressing Fixture by Speed

Hello All

Hoser wanted me to rebuild cranks so I thought I would have a go at it

Started out with a lightly used punching die set I had laying around, going to turn it into a two stroke crankshaft rebuilding tool so I can rebuild 2 stroke crankshafts

Thanks For Looking

About time !

I know of 3-4 FL350 cranks that need rebuilt!

I have 2 Pilot cranks you can do!

I have one TRX250R crank you can do!

I have one 83 ATC250R crank you can do possibly a second one of the same year

I bet I know of 3-4 other Pilot cranks that need done!

When you get those all done I have a crank out of a 1979 440 ROTAX you can do its a twin cylinder a little more tricky requires a different jig.

you are the man speed. I have some cranks as well. question though, are the crank parts for 350s still easy to get? theres an aftermarket kit on ebay now, but I don't know if its really necessary to replace the rod? I have some dead cranks laying around from various bikes I can send your way if you just want something to practice with.

Where did you get the rod kit, and what was its cost ? The only ones I have seen are off of ebay.

Feed back I am getting is PRO-X then Hot Rods but every one of the Hot Rods needs checked before installing guys are seeing about a 30% rejection rate right out of the box, then Vesrah brand.

Last I looked Vesrah was looking for dealers, might pay to check with PRO-X and see if they will make you a dealer?
