I have the first one of Trevor's new style billet heads (s/n-001) and it works well....maybe a little too well! If you guys are planning on using this head, I would suggest using a thermosiphon setup. If not you may want to put a switch on your water pump to shut it off until the head can get a little heat into the head. If it's below 70 degrees, mine takes forever to warm up to operating temperature! CAUTION: If you interrupt the pump, you will want to put an idiot light somewhere to remind you to turn it on! Rand |

Yes. As the water in the head heats up , it rises. This displaces the cold water in the radiator forcing it downward and into the head. This type of flow system has been around for a long time and I believe has been used on water heating and cooling systems long before being used on an Ody. Rand |
