Well, this is something that never crossed my mind during the Paradise CA fires. Look closely at the FL350 in this picture. Im not on facebook, so thanks to BS for sending these my way. Here lies my old FL570 exciter odyssey. Gone but not forgotten! Hopefully it isnt totally trash, but im not sure if i would trust the metal after it getting that hot. He is going to be bummed when he realizes that the Engine mount is custom made parts welded to the frame and not a bolt in Farr Offroad kit.

Site member meegusmaster bought those FL350s. I’m sure she will figure out a way to save whatever is saveable. One could hang them up as shop art or put them out in the lawn with the gnomes. At least they didn’t go to the scrap yard! |

That's one of the saddest sites I have ever seen. I guess when ever a guy thinks he is getting a bad roll in life, there is always someone who has it tougher. That's sick. Work all your FN life to get stuff and then a tornado or a fire takes it all -- sick. You never know what is going on in another persons life unless they post it. A recent example is Bill.. I work with a guy that is a guard at the local maximum penitentiary. He comes in one day a week on the weekends at the job I am at now and told me a story of a 35 yr old guy busted for a local gangland hit. It was in the news here. He is never getting out. Two others -- one was a welder and one was a carpenter are in for the same thing. What a way to waste your life. |
