Welcome to the site, most FL250 builds are boring for most they are looking for cutting edge unrealistic builds to keep them entertained they want 10,000 cc triple turbocharged double EFI carbon fiber plated bla bla bla everything I have 0 interest in lmao

Cant wait to see the build.

Do us all a favor and go back edit your first post and upload your pics to this site this will do two things, one size them so they don't mess up the site format and second will (hopefully) be here for ever, more and more around the web I am running across more and more pictures that no longer exists and am just getting a photo bucket error pic in their place.

I bought a fl250 with a truckload of junk,it was hacked and welded pretty badly,I got it to fire up but it was beat,a guy I know said he had a new frame for it but everything ealse was haggard and I didnt want to spend a lot on this its just a project to mess around with,I have been wanting to build a small inexpensive buggy, its just the cost can soar pretty quick..So I thought to build out of my beat up fl,useing as much fl parts as I can....I ended up raiseing the buggy,I think around 5" and widening the front to match the rear.it has 5" of travel front and rear,I had the shocks, and the seat and belt from other projects,I cut the stock j-arms and bent a tube to slide up inside them to the spindle mount and was able to weld them inside and out,I don't know how my kingpin inclination is going to be as I had to tilt it back a bit farther than what it would be at full extension,I mght have to build new arms still.I used all the stock steering stuff, the front tub,and the rear drive.I am just finishing up the swing arm, still have to mount the seat and belt, rebuild the Engine, replace axle bearings, order some tube to finish the rear cargo area, mount the gas tank, and sandblast and paint it.probably more I forgot...still cant figure out pics they come up as invalid,I will try to get it soon so I can update with progress....I just picked up a nice bw80 for $100that needs some attention, and helped my son buy a nice old 84 250r with a 300hondaline kit,we are just sending the shock off and fixing the forks, and my tri z might interest some on here, I rebuilt it all 4yrs ago,its black and white with a polished Engine (or was 4yrs ago)..love the old 80's toys
