Well I was able to pick up a pilot I sold in 04 to a guy a couple of weeks ago. The g/f went to little sahara with us and wants her "own" pink pilot. So here begins the pink pilot project. Its all stripped of plastic which is at the paint shop for paint.

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, so flame suit on. :-)

Nothing wrong with going with pink. I wanted to build a pink 350 for the g/f.(still might someday) but she says she won't ride it. What other colors you thinking? I was thinking pink frame with white suspension. Stock pilot wheels would look good.

I'm all about customizing, but dude, PINK?!?!?!? If my wife told me she wanted a pink pilot, I would really have to rethink me manhood! LOL

But on a more serious note, be safe while you are building that pilot. It can be very dangerous. Here are some safety clothes you might want to pick up...

Ahhhhhh, nothing like setting on the coach after working all day on the pilot and watching pretty in pink with the girlfriend sharing popcorn or having Her over to watch pretty in pink (the pilot) in the garage. I'll vote for the garage either way a chick flick.

Seriously you should make it her own and IF she wants pink pink it should be. Knowing you attention to detail it will look good and be a show piece. The thing is She has ridden yours and it has bolt on goodies and hers will not. Dig deep for some goodiies or your gona hear it or She will get seat time in yours. You could weld you seat in place and say Sorry the seat does not move.

But your ok with painting all the plastic pink?? LOL. No hurry on the fender. In fact the closer we get to a ride date, I would just say bring it with you to the dunes, save on shipping and possible damage UPS would do to the box.
