Find you a trail by power lines or a pipe line that is popular and usually all whooped out and do some testing their before changing valving.

We have a lot of whoop sections and I've done some testing on them, the front end is great but the back is where it becomes tricky. I got 16" shocks just because they look bad A but I'm only using about 8" of travel. If I have them set at a PSI that is smooth on the trail I almost use up all my travel, and when I pump them up to do some jumping its to stiff for the whoops. I'm going to call FOX to see if they can valve them as if I only have an 8" travel shock then they should work good I think, we will see what the verdict is.

If the shock travel is too much you can install spacers inside to reduce the length of the stroke, you also probably need to add oil to the shock to change the compression ratio, then they can be soft at right height but get stiffer as you start to use more of the travel, another words you can adjust and taylor the rising rate.

Yeah that seems like what I need to do. Will fox do that when I send them off to get re-valved or is that something I so myself
