Do not do it. SS bolts are not the same quality as the OEM fasteners. Waste of money.

I agree with rmesser. If your going to do it anyway though. Make sure you don't use them on the rollcage bolts. Rollcage won't do anything but hurt you worse if they shear off in a rollover.

No replacement that i know of. The caliper can be rebuilt. Probably just a wornout seal. I believe I have a seal set if you are interested.

Have you seen hoser wrote up? Fl400 and fl350 rear calipers are about the same.

Check on DOOtalk.com or snowmobilefanatics.com. That's where I got my 470 Formula MX E and my 617 Formula Mach 1 RAVE manuals, complete and free. I bet the 583's wiring is very similar if not the same as other mid-90's Rotax sleds. Most of the variation is with added options.

Or download here for $7: http://powersportresource.com/results.php?style=Snowmobile&make=Ski-Doo

Should be rather easy, really, especially since there's a lot of crap you don't need (like grip warmers). But there are some cool things I want to keep (gages, oil level warning light, etc). Wiring is always tedious. I'm a few weeks away from wiring up my 470 to my Oddy. Anxious to hit the starter button!

Use what ever oil your going to use once the Engine is broke in for the break in, also use the same ratio.

No problems using synthetics for break in that is all bullshit paranoia spread around on the web by people who has no experience in breaking in engines.

Avoid letting the Engine idle too much run it.

I see thanksgiving feast!!! Nice gobblers. The one tire looks flat or the other overinflated. Make sure they're the same pressure first. Maybe some close ups of each side if you can.
