I was hoping to be able to help you out with the electrical work I was going to do on my Rotax swap. But spring has sprung, and I'm in lawn mower rehab mode. Fixed / overhauled two Craftsman tractors and a Troy-Bilt zero-turn this weekend, and that's around all the Easter plans - BUSY!

Grass here has not even really started to turn green yet but I am sure it will happen fast, got my mower ready to mow I do all my maintenance in the fall when I put them away.

joshdirtbike when I did the 440 swap into my Pilot I made my own harness for the Engine and the on off switch is just a toggle switch I could add a relay and tie it into the OEM harness so I could use the key and on off switch on the yoke but liked to keep it simple and reliable.

My sled Engine uses the regulator and rectifier off the sled then I took the output from that ran it to the Pilot battery so it keeps the battery charged, the power still supplies the factory harness so I have to turn the key on so the fan on the radiator and the lights has power then they function as normal, I just unplugged the Pilot regulator rectifier from the harness put it in the box of parts I need if I ever want to drop a Pilot Engine back into the frame, its all plug and play no butchered up wiring harnesses.

would it be ok to tighten my flywheel on my 583 motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) with a air gun and the clutch? or what would be the best way to do it

I would find out the required torque and use a torque wrench to tighten I would also use loctite on the threads, some cranks the ends are real soft like they were not heat treated this leaves the threads soft easy to damage.
