I just bought Feds old 350...good guy discount! It's been garaged since the summer of sixes ride 2006 after a piston seize. It's a very nice machine with tons of goodies. It's getting delivered Friday so will get pics up then. Probably pics on here somewhere. It was a very low houred machine with all boots n plastics in great shape and a factory Hondaline tach. We added Works all the way around with covers, nerfs, marv tuff hubs, hrd clutch, live wire ported jug and liq head, EGT n coolant gage, dual snorkel intake, 38mm airstryker, new sand tires on Douglas rim and almost new holeshot tires on Douglas rims, pilot pro ceramic pipe n silencer, protoglass roof storage top, probably lots of other goodies I can't remember. He just put a new piston in it but lost the carb spring so doesn't want it anymore. He is going to ride with me at Killpecker in a few weeks....if it ever stops snowing. Lol

Congratulations on the new addition to your stable, sorry to see Fed sold his 350 he put a lot of time and money into that machine, does Fed still do the off road thing? He still live in your area?

I am sure you will have it running soon, you have a spare carb spring I assume?

Sorry about the dangling....getting old and that comes with the territory. Lol. He let it go for $1800 so it was worth twice that easy. Fed moved to Salt Lake City area about a year ago. He rides still but mostly mountain trail stuff on the real big 4x4 quads. He also has a raptor 660 for dunes...which he has not done since 06. I know he dumped about 5K in upgrades...wish he would have avoided the after spurts stuff but went for the BS lines.

I do remember we never got the HRD clutching right. It would launch hard as he'll but would not backshift climbing steep dunes or hills until the Engine bogged to very low RPMs. Probably too many washers??? Trail riding with him following I would purposely slow down half way up then excellerate away. He would call me off things that would make Baz blush! Lol

Even with a fresh rebuilt Engine, I may pull it(insert joke here) and swap in a race Engine.

What's a Pilot? Lmao. Sooner or later I will get one to "Nuke" on. I already have torque and rev pipes, clutches n other goodies for one. I just can't find the bargain on one. $450 is the most I have ever spent on my first 7 350s til now.

Ya, he is an old military buddy of mine. He used to ride my first one all the time til I found this one cherry in a Montana barn for $2,000. He snapped it up and the rest is history. Lol

Great looking machine! That’s a score, congrats on the good guy discount. Just glad it will still be played with!!! Never seen that clutch before, what brand is it again (hrc)? Was that a racing clutch, or was it a one off that he tried to make work?
