I like that Farr also paints his heads Chevy Red. Its a great color next to the aluminum and 'pops' in the Engine bay.

Good luck with the build!

Wow to much to many ideas..to bad I don't drink. Lol.

Wonder if the fitting on the right will work for re-directing that head coolant tube?? This is from a 670 and both parts are on evilBay for $15 + s/h. The part on the left will not fit your Engine (its for newer models), besides yours already has the horizontal pump cover. =)

Well heck there you go thanks. And Hoser that doesn't look too bad.
Nice job, so is that a 470? Just wondering how the single carb
And intake with different rotary valve timing works on it.
Thanks joe.

Mine is a 440

Oh ok, I guess it will be ok then. Thanks.
Joe.

Your timing will be controlled on the Engine side so if you use the 470 valve plate regardless how the manifold on the upstream side matches your timing will be correct, that is if you set the valve plate to the correct timing, follow me? I matched up my manifold to the intake openings as best I could so the total flow opening would be a straight smooth pipe no steps or notches (miss matching) between parts but again if you think about it its the surface on the Engine and the valve plate that controls the opening size shape and timing.

Get it running and dialed in I think you will agree you have more than enough power if not you can always go back and tweak it for more power in the future :-)

Read the factory manual see what it offers for different disc valves, figure out what you have and install to complement the disc you have, they offer a bunch of different disc for either low rpm or for rev I went with the low rpm settings on mine gives you more torque on the bottom end, try to adjust the intake timing on a piston port or reed cage Engine :-) you gotta buy new cylinders and modify each time you want to change it, that's the beauty of these disc valve engines....

Ya a little,
I pulled the trans, figured nows the time to go through it.
I'm considering polishing the cases, lol.
Need to cut the frame so I can install the frame mod, then bolt that 470 in there.
Then get to that seadoo carb..

Next trans I rebuild I want to paint black looks better that way

The one on my pilot is black and looks so much better that way
