look familiar?

Only pics I have of it. You add that bar to the rear with tabs facing diagonal down. For the front, you weld on tabs to the frame bar that is right below your knee area. You also have to trim the rear of the foot tub to clear. Hope this helps.

yep, that's the type of pictures I'm looking for. looking at other options too possibly using the original seat mounts if possible. did you have to cut your stock seat mounts at all?

I built some mounts for my daughters Oddy so that it would be just a bolt in using the stock seat mounting points. I'll dig her's out, It's buried right now and grab a few pics for you in the next couple of days.

Go look at a Polaris RZR seat bracket for ideas also.

I like it that you are using the stock mounts and the added tilt feature very innovative.

This was the seat Turbotexas had in his Triple E. I just made the mounts out of some 1" square tubing and angle iron. I still need to build a skid plate when I get time. It bolts to the factory Oddy or Pilot seat mount.

Anyway I hope it helps..

The other ways will make that seat too high. Just cut the stock tabs off and do it how I had it done. Otherwise you will run out of head room. I am 5'10'' and I sat in that seat with brackets made to do what you are trying to do, and I couldnt get my helmet on. The Kirkey seat like NukeEm is using is totally different, narrower, and less butt padding, so you can mount it higher and it doesnt matter. Also, that seat is simply bigger than the stock seat, so there really wont be any room to slide it forward or back.

I'm 6' and have no problems with my helmet with this seat mounted the way I did it, but you are right you do sit higher with this set up over the stock seat.

I don't think I'm going to do it, I just don't want to cut out the stock seat mounts. I put some 1/4" strap across the stock mounts and seemed to have plenty of head room, but I have a bad back (L5) and something about the seating positioned was not right and put pressure in the wrong place, the stock seat didn't bother me too much, I would definitely like to have more suspension though.

Try sitting in Shoubadaba's seat next time. He re-wrapped a stock seat and had more foam added. He says it is almost as nice as a suspension seat.

She only weighs about 105 lbs so I'm guessing the seat will out live her interest in the Ody. lol..

I still have a spare Pilot seat I will install in her Ody if it ever gives her any trouble. Personally, I don't care for the seat. I bought it used from Turbo texas and although it it's a nice seat, If I had to pay retail i would have gone with something else, but she likes it and the Ody is her's so I guess in the end that is all that matters. I still need to get a skid plate on it.
