Alright im new here but i just traded my 94 kx250(paid 800 for it) for a fl350(strait trade). Its been chopped and extended a bit and has a hondamatic 750 Engine in it and also got the stock 350 Engine. do you think i got a good deal? it runs but i need to clean the carbs out and its somewhat of a project. also has the stock FNR in there but the shifting cables busted on me.

Hell yes.....

You can't fly over the handlebars of an FL350! :-)

Let me be the first to request that you find another way to mount the gas tanks because your first roll over will result in a damaged tank and or a nice fire with you strapped into the seat!

Just FYI, if you were to part out what you have now you would be able to get your 800 bucks out of it easily.

yeah i kinda thought that was a foolish place to mount a tank, but theres no room to mount it under the cage, theirs a gap from the Engine to the seat where i can mount it but im going to need some kind of fuel pump for it since its a gravity fed tank.

X2 on the tank. Can you take some more detailed pics for us? Maybe we can help you out. That was a great trade, especially if you also have the stock 350 and other parts.

See if you have enough parts to put the original Engine back in .

First thing I'd do is beat that big stupid wing off it. I would've done that before I left his house. I would've done the trade to.

Take a bunch of still pics of that pillow-block jack-shaft and the chain setup its got, plus sprocket size (to figure out how its geared).

There's no FL350 trans there...is there?? So do you have a final shaft (spool) with a sprocket that drives the axles? I don't understand where the chains are connecting to at the FL350 gearbox.

Probably one of the cleanest engine-grafts I've seen in a while, really.

The wing HAS to go, lol.

Get rid of that diamond plate behind the seat. That's an air-cooled Engine and you'll want it to breathe, granted it isn't a heat-sinker 2-stroke.

Fab a tank to fit someplace, maybe a triangle up high behind your head (not great for COG) or behind the seat with a pump.

Have you ridden it yet? I imagine its a wheelie machine.

Also, I noticed the rear suspension upper links are almost horizontal. Likely from the extra weight of that Engine and big fuel tank, or the shocks aren't big enough. Generally the links are at like a 60-deg angle when a stock buggy sits there empty. I would not go jumping that thing until you get that tank in the cage, and make sure the Engine is on there securely, shocks are adequate, and cage is stout.

Carbs may need to be synchronized, too. Clean 'em and have a shop or a knowlegible guy with a vacuum sync tool sync them.

I'll get the pics of the drive train on sunday, It ran alright till carb #1 float started to stick, I have to mess with the gearing, since it was only doing like 35-40

Why does he want $500 more for a bill of sale? That's weird. Hell buy it for $500 and I'll write you a bill of sale! Lol

"I Mike Oxlong sold 760rider.............." Lol

I'd do whatever I had to do to buy that machine for $500. Ramen noodle diet. That's if someone here hasn't already gotten it.

$500 is a no brainer, unless it HOT. lol

I was surprised to find the double layer of tubing when I cut off the lower section to make room for my Rotax recoil.

My buddy is trying to pick it up, I'm pretty sure it's not hot since it's from a dealership just sitting in the back waiting to be restored.
