Not yet I spent this past weekend prepping my other 350 and my banshee for the dunes this weekend. Stripped all the suspension off the odyssey. Cleaned and painted it. No more gold! It looks soo much better than it did. I haven't had a trip to the sand in almost 4 years. So I'm due for a good escape.

The frame could use fresh paint. But It cleaned up nicely. This one I've kinda designated to my girlfriend. I spend a lot of time on mine. I figured I'd clean hers up a bit. I did some cleaning and painting on my banshee as well.

This is the oil reservoir I was thinking of using. It may be perfect to use for the shaft oiler with pre mix. These are cheap too. Around $30 New on eBay. This one is missing the sight glass. But they come with it new. So you would be able to keep a eye on the level and cleanliness of the oil.

use clear hose for the lines. All i have is a long line with a K&N style PVC vent on the end of it. that way i can see the oil level each time i get in.

Yes I like that idea the reservoir I bought has a sight glass on the side as well. It said it's 750ml capacity. So hopefully having more will help keep that oil cooler. It should be arriving today I'll post a pic this evening.

This is the canister I was shipped but I ordered a polished aluminum one. So it'll be going back. But other than the finish its the same. Looks like the hose nipples are the right size for the oil lines on the rotax

Finally got back on my project here. It's been a bit. But I started building some steering today. I machined up these for the idler arms. I think they'll work well.

There 10mm id and I believe 19mm od. I made the sleeve for the center so when its all tightened up with the through bolt it won't bind or put a side load on the bearings.

Worked a bit more on it today. Built a tie rod. It moves smoothly and no signs of bump steer. But I'm not certain I have enough travel. The knuckle turns as sharp as a stock 350. But the controls do not turn as far. So I would have faster steering. I'm not sure that's what I want. Anyone encounter this?

I just purchased the Farr 583 kit for my Pilot and wanted to know if you guys rewired the machine or tied into existing wire harness. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Honestly I haven't got that far yet. Wiring is a big to do on my list. I still need to wire the Engine, stop and tail lights, reverse light, trail tech vapor, and my heated hand grips. Please post any info you find. What Engine do you have for the swap?

Finally got a chance to do some more on my exhaust. This is the stock ski-doo pipe and I did not add nor remove any material. So it should perform properly.

You should buy a pilot steering wheel so you will have all the the stuff wired into the wheel
Then you have brake lights and way better brakes
I had a pilot wheel on my odyssey. And it make the brakes so much better

Then you could add power steering if you would like

that's my next purchase I think. As soon as funding becomes available Id like to do that. Did you have the 350 with the longtravel rear and the aftermarket gear box?
