I just bought this 85 Big Red atc250 es locally ($500) and although it looks like crap now im planning nice restoration in the comming months. I think ill start after archery season this September so I can take my time. It's plastics are pretty bad but it runs excellent and tires are good. I have some side covers that are in excellent condition. Im sending them off to Maires in California so they can make a mold and start producing new ones. They are near impossible to fing in good shape and ridiculously expensive.

Looks like a good start for a project, I have seen people asking a lot more for them and you can't even see this Engine with all the dirt and oil caked on it, Engine is nice and clean , too bad they trashed the plastic and seat so bad.
Can't wait to see it restored.

I have a buddy who reupholsters atv seats, he did 3 or 4 for my 3 wheelers already. They were $60-75 each depending on size and he uses sled cover material so its not so brittle in the cold. Looks like a nice clean project ATC!

350s look nice n clean too.

Sounds like a fair price to me. Just ship him the seat? What if it needs foam work?

How bad is the foam? or how much is missing is a better way to put it. lol He has different thicknesses and density foams so can repair pretty much anything. May charge a little bit more for it. His shop is in Montana so shipping may cost some, don't know. I will be moving up there in Dec and can deliver back n forth for free if you are not in a rush.

Im guessing that under the high quality duct tape seat cover currently adorning my atc there is seat foam equally in need of help. New foam is a must plus im a heavy guy so dense foam might be good.

Just an educated guess. ...... unless your refering to the Heavy guy comment and then id have to respond with "The Mirror".

Man I want to get out and ride. I looked at my work schedule for the end of July and the 1st half of August and between now and August 12th ive got 2 days off and I just finished a 9 day set. If that's not bad enough I work a 12hr shift so it really starts to wear on you.
Maybe in the later part of August we can get out to Walden or Taylor park.

Are you interested in the trip to Little Sahara in OK that some of the others are talking about. Maybe they'll make it happen this season. I wish someone would just set a date, I'm in.

I am really going to try, it just depends on how my class schedule is going to work, and funds when we get closer.
