Hello everyone. I haven't been active since winter 2013 on these forums. I had purchased an fl250 that was too warped (Engine) and messed up to fix. Now fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I am the proud owner of 3 fl250's ATM. I got very lucky and took all the opponrtunities I had in front of me. The one highlighted in this project is the one I have had the longest (a little less than 2 weeks) This is my custom FL250. It came to me with a messed up roll cage and no brakes. It didnt idle well, and had some rusted out stock rims with 2 flat tires. I got it for $400. Here are some before pics when I first bought it, some work I have done, and some current pics now. night I bought it: Attachment: 20140731_202043.jpg [ 76.49 KiB | Viewed 848 times ] Attachment: 20140731_202104.jpg [ 77.07 KiB | Viewed 848 times ] painting the rims: Attachment: 20140814_184315.jpg [ 106.05 KiB | Viewed 848 times ] Attachment: 20140814_184350.jpg [ 115.21 KiB | Viewed 848 times ] Attachment: 20140814_184358.jpg [ 108.47 KiB | Viewed 848 times ] Attachment: 20140814_190921.jpg [ 107.2 KiB | Viewed 848 times ] |

Well that sums up what's been done so far. I have 2 other ones as well, and can include pics of them at some point when I get to taking them. I have plans to fabricate fenders for the rear of this machine, and to also fabricate a snorkel type air intake similar to stock form, but with two tubes for better airflow. ** Let me know what you think! Thanks!! |

Nice work so far. I'm sure they're going to be a blast to ride. I'm sure once you get the others running you wont have trouble convincing your friends to come out and play. P.S. Love the stereo you mounted on the back. I had my old record player on mine but it kept skipping the needle. Probably a suspention issue..... Who knows! |

That was almost like a trick statement. I would follow that up with "What suspension?" or better yet, "What REAR suspension?" These only had the "larger" tires for a rear suspension lol, makes for a fun, but bumpy ride. I would love an FL350R, but funds are too tight for something like that ATM. |
