Someone spent a lot of time personalizing that Pilot.

Start another thread and post info on your fiberglass work.

Looking at the position of the seat the former owner must have been about 5' tall?

Looks like the frame has been stretched. Someone put a ton of money into modifying that one for sure.

Shocks are "ohlins".

I have two pilots and five fl 350.

I will do championships and fiber glass are stronger and it can be fixed if necessary.

The frame was extended (10cm), that´s the reason why fenders were cut.

Wait..wait..wait... You can fab fiberglass...you know how to hob gears...it looks like you can fab and weld tubing pretty good? Why the heck are you buying a simple Engine mount from FARR ?

BTW, I like the diagonal, most don't know that's supposed to be the continuous piece.

Hi,

Yes i bought a complet kit at FARR (Engine too). Its cheaper than in France.
I do all those tranformations on the machine so that it suits the championship rules. I extended it for a better road holding.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but im pretty sure the exhaust is going to hit that diagonal brace on the roll cage, would have been better the other direction but either way I would wait for the parts to arrive to check the clearence

Hi,

Can you tell me wether it´s better to keep the oil pump or to pour the oil directly in the fuel tank?

? is I believe the port for the fuel pump, the fuel pump is built into the carb on the watercraft carbs no external fuel pump required.

You have no idea how to hook up bleed and test the oil pump I would premix the oil with the gas and remove the oil pump and block it off with a plate.

Where are the power valves?

This Engine arrive unsealed? How are you keeping the moisture and dirt out of the power valve openings, exhaust ports, spark plug holes and the hole that goes directly into your crankcase where all your bearings are trying to suck in moisture so they can rust up?

no you link the fuel line tougher for the carbs

and you don't need a fuel pump the carbs have one built into them

ill get a photo to show you

Post subject:  Re: Pilot fl500

you will want one of these

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MIKUNI-SBN-SUPE ... d7&vxp=mtr

the chokes are crap on those carbs they don't pull fuel that's why everyone uses this

i would personally ditch the oil pump just remove it plus you know your fuel is properly mixed
