Did you get a refund? That would be first priority to me.

What is wrong with your original setup? Pictures help us help you as well.

Good luck and welcome to the forum

Welcome to the site sorry to hear about your Engine, we are a small close group of Pilot Odyssey enthusiast .

What did the guy say that sold you the supposedly rebuilt Engine you need to pursue a full refund including shipping if you received less than advertised or agreed upon before payment.

If you don't mine please disclosed who wronged you with the Engine deal so others here can be aware of a bad seller.

Take detailed pictures of both engines so we can help evaluate what you have see if its rebuild-able.

Did you pick up the buggy or did you have it shipped?

Well i paid $400 for the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) then shipping. I would like to do the rotax but i don't have the money for that. I cant find any one local to work on this motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) so i guess im in the market for another one or find a mechanic to ship this one too.

That also looks like the original Salsbury clutch on it. I bet that it is worn out as well. In my opinion I would do a complete rebuild on it. I think $400 is a lot for that even if you got the head and cylinder.
