Figured the Oddy needed a mate, so I picked up an 84 200x for $75. Don't know much about them but for the price I was willing to take a risk. Doesn't run but its all there, owner said it sat for 10 years. Needs rear fender and seat but everything else is there.

Checked the compression yeaterday and it was around 60, so sprayed spayed a bunch of BelRay 6in1 in the cylinder yesterday. Going to check it again later today see if it helped. Ive always wanted a sport 3wheeler but most of the ones in my area are 250r and 350x going for between 2000 and 5000 depending on condition. Figure the 200 will get my feet wet and i can move up to a bigger one later

Also any suggestions on cleaning the tank? Inside of the tanks looks pretty bad, would like to salvage the metal tank if i can but ive been told the kits to re-line the tanks are junk.

Congrat's on your new three wheeler!! I am going through an obsessive rebuild of my '85 250R right now and WOW, I thought Pilot parts cost money.... Whole new world for me.(three wheeled world) Good news is parts are available if you need and are quite affordable as long as you don't need restoration quality. It shocks me some Pilots sell for less than a three wheeler, way more stuff on a Pilot or Oddy so per pound they should be worth more!! Have fun with yours, a great buy no matter what
