Fox-2.0 Air Shock Non-CoilOver 4.5" Travel w/ 1.25" Shaft #980-02-014-A

I am wondering if anyone has tried to fit these shocks on the front of a FL400 with stock arms and stock brackets? Here is a link with collapsed and extended lengths for various shock sizes…

http://www.polyperformance.com/Fox-2-0-Air-Shock

I am not sure what the length specs are for the stock front FL400 shock.

I know the Yoda arm kit calls for the 5.5’’ travel shocks #980-02-015-A and using upper shock mounting brackets. Has anyone tried THESE shocks and brackets with stock lower arms?

I’m helping Westecbuilder with a project, changing to fox airs on all 4 corners and still using the stock front arms.

Thanks.

Two hundred and thirty five dollars for one four inch stroke shock
I am not knocking the product just the price.

If you think that's bad, go price what Works want's for their shocks. Please be sitting when you do the search... LOL!

Dark Angel just picked up a pair of these for the price of one.

I believe it was a screw up on the vendor's part, I think they meant to say a piece but the ad said for a pair.

I hope they don't screw him on the set!

That was the first suspension mod I made on my Pilot, its been so long ago I forget the exact details, I changed my upper mounts to adjustable mounts because at the time I was not sure what I wanted to do and wanted adjustability, I fabricated all my own spacers, I used 1/2" bolts and drilled out the lower holes in the arms.

I love them I used them with my +2 arms too, using the stock arms I went from bottoming out the front suspension 500 times a trip to never bottoming. the improvement was so great the rear shocks felt like they needed something so I replaced them too.

Think I used the 4.5" stroke, its been so long I cant remember for sure, if you check the over all length I think it will be self explanatory.

I think I have most the FOX Air shox info concentrated on these pages?

Wish FOX made a bolt on kit for the stock arms I really like these shocks.
