Picked it up for $600, previous owner thought the CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) was bad because it didnt spark when he used the electric start. Later that day hooked up everything he unplugged and tried pull starting it since I read on here it was a common problem when they starter was going bad. From everyone on here found out it had a Comet 102c, Works suspension, Douglas wheels and uni filter. Cleaned it up as much as I could at home, by changing bad bearings, bushings, clean the carb, change all the fuel lines, pulse line, and replace the dry rotted tires with 22x10 up front and 20x10 in the rear. Then rebuilt the suspension and had the springs powdercoated. |

For $600 you stole it. You should be jumping for joy and doing cart wheels. Pictures of snoopy in the peanuts cartoons come to mind. |

Damn good find, sir! What's wrong with people and giving this stuff away? Always love me a good deal, but need to keep prices up for when I ever need to sell, lol! |

That battery box starting to rust and they are hard to find if not impossible to find. I would sandblast and repaint it if I were you. |

Thanks for looking out. Ill put something on it for now to stop the rust, but i plan on after this riding season tearing it down and sending it all off to be powder coated. |

The new hardware from Comet is standard so it wont thread. Called and was told to use the oem bolt for the salsbury cause they don't have a metric bolt. Well since mine came with a 102c i don't have the salsbury bolt and the 102c bolt is too long so we put a spacer on it for the time being. |
