Post subject:  Challenger FL250 Racer PART 2: THE FRAME

Alright this section is focused on the frame and steering and suspension etc. When I got the frame it was poorly painted about 70 different colors so of course I have since repainted it. The frame is a challenger ss1 and is pretty sweet. (link to challenger catalog here: http://pilotodyssey.com/challengercat1.htm ) The frame did not have a body nor the original seat. The front end had modified FL250 swing arms that had the dampening pad stoppers removed and had higher travel shocks. It also had a destroyed j-arm sleeve on one side. It has challenger tie rods, and the stock FL250 steering column and wheel. In the back there are dual shocks on each side. It had progressive suspension baja magnum shocks up front and Maeco shocks in the back. The tires on it were bad a cracked some of them were did not hold air so I got new tires front and back.
