Jesus Christ another show room quality oddy.
Has the original front bumper rubber caps on the ends of the tube.
Stickers on frame not rubbed off by climbing in and out.
Wrist restraint metal D rings not rusted -- so it never sat outside.
Original seat belts in very good condition -- not sun faded or rusted up adjusters.
Throttle lever not polished and worn where your thumb presses.
Fenders not drooping because sitting in desert sun.
Looks like original tires.
If you would have passed on this oddy then you should be shot with your own poo. Just my opinion.
Very nice.
Trail Tech gauges or any other gauge: My opinion is keep your FN eyes on the road. Your gona crash bad at high speed looking at the awesome rpm on the gauge ---------------- not good.
As long time members here know, I like Avgas. The higher octane will prevent you from melting an Engine. The oddys run real hot because of detonation of todays shitty fuel. The fuel of today is not the same stuff as the fuel of 1985. The oddy
Engine is behind the seat so it gets very little cooling. Honda had many recalls trying to solve this heat issue. They recalled the piston size (went smaller) , recalled the head (put angled fin heads on) , recalled the side air scoops (made them bigger) , and then finally gave up on the thing all together after just one year in production. Four years later they come out with a liquid cooled 400cc Engine -- hummmmm I wonder why ?? Before I start another argument here I will say that yes you can run pump gas but when you run high octane the Engine temps drop like a stone. The reason an oddy Engine runs like a flame thrower is because the pump fuel detonates and the lack of air flow cooling really magnifies this issue. Check out all the posts on this site about melted oddy engines. I posted a poll to see how many members ran high octane fuel and how many run pump gas. It was 50/50 result.
Avgas -- amen.
PS: VERY nice machine, nice score.
