When I was removing the caliper to replace the transmission seal I noticed the brake retainer brackets that fit in the caliper was toast (See picture) Noticed you cannot buy them anymore so got a chunk of thin sheet metal and made two. Not the prettiest in the world but not bad for first attempt and they work so what the heck. I also posted pictures of my 1989 fl400. I just bought it and have put a rigid industries light bar on it replaced the rear shocks, lrd exhaust pipe and silencer, replaced the front brakes, replaced the transmission seals, cv boots, ball joints, and new wheel bearings and seals. It had the dual air intake when I bought it and also has a larger carb on it. Its a blast to drive and love the 2 stroke motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )). future plans are new front shocks and front disc brake conversion.

Oh my look at all those nice toys. Nice shop.
Looks like it's two storey as I see a set of stairs.
Like the Honda 350X and that drag truck.

Yeah I think there was a post here once on someone making those out of tuna can lids LOL.

Yes I am lucky to have such a nice shop remember as a kid working outside on my hot rod in the cold. It sucked bad. I am toy heavy. I am surprised you did not like the silver 65 dodge coronet with the 426 hemi in it. Its my favorite. Thanks for the nice comments take care Glenn

I didn't realize it had a hemi in it LOL.
So now it is a toss up between the drag truck and the Coronet.

When I was a teenager I always wanted an old Ford or Chev pickup short box so that I could put my dirt bike in the back. I wanted to be cool going to high school. LOL. Never happened -- no money.
