Does anyone on the site know what the modification is to make narrow the Skidoo TRA primary clutch to work with a pilot belt?

Also Does anyone know the modification to widen the pilot driven clutch?

anyone?
this is what I have understood is the process to narrow the primary, pull the clutch apart, Separate the fixed half shaft from the sliding half, then machine off the end of the spline the required amount to narrow (1/8"?) and also machine off the same amount from the step, well I pulled the primary that I have apart, I don't think the model that I have it going to be able to be modified to narrow. first off it does not use splines at the end of the shaft it has a taper, that would need to be cut down and the taper reground, the second issue I see is there is not much material at the step as there is also a step on the inside, I'd be concerned that the shaft may get too thin in that area.
Maybe I need to buy another clutch that uses splines rather than the taper or just modify the driven clutch. I need to find the post that someone made on how they did that unless someone else knows :-)
