The project is coming along slowly but surely. I am getting the parts I need a little at a time. Should be ready for next season. That way i can take someone to ride with.

Stock fenders & seats are very difficult to find used in good condition for the 250 Ody. Plastic just won't last long exposed to UV light and the seat bottoms are almost always rusted out from the foam acting like a sponge holding moisture against it. Many aftermarket seats & fenders look & work well on the Ody

Curtis,

I've got em, just have to find em, that's all.

The spacers that came off the one we tore down won't work because the axle support bracket and bearing require two spacers to the left of the gearcase (one between the gearcase and bearing and another between the bearing and hub).

I will go through everything Friday or Saturday and see where the spacers are and if I can find another muffler mount.

Looks good Curtis. I've been busy building a work shop the past few months once I get it finished i'll have a place to work on my 250 as well.

Sounds good. I'm just south of OKC in the TriCity area between Newcastle and Tuttle actually live in BridgeCreek.
We have the roof left, I should get it on this next weekend. I'm insulating and it is just me and a buddy so it is slow work. We built his now working mine. Be good to have a home for the FL350, Fl250 and my Healey project car. 250 has been religated to a tarp cover in the yard and 350 stays in the garage.

we it is running.
cold compression is 126 have not run a warmed up compression yet.

carb needs a little tuning i think it is rich in the middle - will get to that this weekend.

need to add the seat belts

everything seems to work - lights and kill switch.

it will start on first pull most of the time.

next i will spend some time cleaning it up like sandy the wheels and painting - and on and on.
