This is my 2003 R6. Had it for 3 yrs. I did all the dressing up 2 yrs ago. She won a couple first prizes. I thought she needed a change. The 2006-07 came out with a new exhaust set up. I decided it would be cheaper to change the exhaust to look like a 2007 than purchase the 2007
Seems everywhere I looked(sportbike forums) everyone was saying it wouldn't work because:
1. The slip-on doesn't line up
2. The 06-07 have cats added to the header which would make it way to
loud.
3. The 06-07 header with the cat will not fit on the older models
4. The slip-on has the butterfly system in it - the later models the system
is in the header

So since it was a "no can do" I had to proof them wrong

Next project will be take the 2003 tail and change to the 2007 tail - they say you can't do this either
