So several years ago we got a log bed for the boy. Adorandak bed.
Now we have two and to keep with the theme we got a bunk bed.

Well..... The assembly is a lot more than to be first anticipated.
Wifey sanded and oiled the logs. 2 weeks.

Today we cleared the room out and assembled the bugger. Full day to douche the room and bring in the new....
What fun. :)

I used compression straps the winch the panels together. Everything has swelled with the finishing process. And a nice heavy white mallet.

Thanks.
My wife did most of it if not all the work.

The bed came essentially as a pile of fence posts that were very rough cut. The ends were assembled.

Lots of sanding was needed. And we use Wooden Salad Bowl oil for the finish coat. Very easy to apply.

Assembly was the hardest part. And of course the two year old was NOT happy to sleep in it last night. So the portable crib was needed last night.
