I was having problems with rust in my tank and i dint like the fuel pump on my fl250. took to long to get fuel in the carb when i first started or when i run out of gas.

i decided to put a fuel cell cell.

mounts on top i think i migth raise my center of gravity. more roll overs.
It also has a big sponge in side is that going to be a problem.
The fittings are a little odd.
can anybody see problems in my future please comment freely i can take it.

Mario,

Should be fine as long as you guys are always wearing helmet when riding, I'd hate to see someone smack their head into that.......

As far as the gravity feed goes we've done 4 without having to mod the carb (changing the needle and seat) and we always preferred them, use the same filter you had on there below the fuel cell and make sure you have a valve right at the cell outlet.

Yours is the only one in the last 5 years that we didn't convert because the tank was holding up and it always ran perfect.

Go figure!
