I think the next time brother in law rides it will be in HIS golf cart :-) He likes to push envelope. Its fun to watch when its not "your" bike flipping.

Bumping this and wondering if any progress has been made. If it will be a while, I will just come up with something to tide me over for storage.

Think Mudbogger does, MassOdy has one he bolted to his 350 but it could be used just ignore the extra holes he drilled to mount on the 350.

I will ask them when I see em in the chat.

I have 1 yes. I called the company which produced them back in the day Proto- glass inc no answer dunno if still in bis or not. I took the roof to a local company some weeks back and have not eceived a proposal back to date. Time has been hard to come by with the projects currently underway.

If it helps I can ship mine to afastcar, that is no trouble at all. I was going to install on my AZ pilot.

Can you post detailed pics? I can show them to him to get a rough estimate.

What are these made of? Fiberglass? Plastic?

Never mind, I answered my own question. Mud, if you are still interested in backing this, I work for a plastic thermoforming company and my Father-in-law and Brother-in-law both work for large thermoforming companies. I am sure between the 3 of us, we could have a mold and fixture made for these if you like.

I had my Father-in-laws company make a mold and fixture for a Pinball machine ramp that was no longer available. They specialize in heavy gauge plastics and do fantastic work!

Make them out of plastic would not bother me long as they are strong enough, you can
use a Pilot and Odyssey stock roof top to model from basically cut a hole in the middle
and insert a storage box.

The fiberglass storage compartments that were made were super nice wish we had more available.

No way to find this guy, you have his real name and last known address? I bet we have some amateur detectives here that can find him :-)

I have 3 phone numbers, 2 email addresses and his actual address. I have tried everything except going to his house, he's 80-90 miles north and I haven't had a reason to make the trip yet. Haven't tried in at least 6 months either.

I was going to trade an excellent FL250 bottom end (tight crank and fresh bearings and seals) for the 2 copies and my original so we'd have a roof compartment on all 3 pilots.

I think I will refresh my efforts and see if I can find him.

Search for his name in the obituaries close to where he lives, just search all the local news papers for his name if it died it will show up in obituaries if he was arrested in the jail reports lol

He's in South Gate or was, I'll have to dig the address out of the safe, think I tossed it in with all of the titles and DMV records.
