They where on CL a few days ago. The guy posted them Monday night and I was the first person to go look at them on Tuesday. it was a nice score.

A site called Vintage Honda has anything you need, not cheap but OEM. I'll post some pics tomarrow. My passion is restoring old Honda Z-50's. I have a 1970 z-50 KO2(mint), 1980Z-50R(mint)' 1985-ATC 70(mint)& the cleaneast original I've ever seen on EBay or Craigslist 1985 FatCat.

Just media blast it to a nice even finish and put Engine clear coat on it....It keeps dirt from sticking to the metal and gives a "new factory" look.....

What media did you use to blast the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? ))? That is a nice looking bike. Thanks for sharing

Nice find Gene! I have had several trail 70s and ATC 70s over the years and looks like the same Engine setups. I wonder if thier headlight assemblies and other parts are interchangable? Headlight mounts look the same too. I have a 70 and 110 engines, among other parts stashed away. Keep us posted with progress.

I used a combination of a metal oxide and plastic bead, the metal to cut away the dirt and the platsic to pean the cut.
Sorry I can't remember the exact name of each media but I will check the bags and get back on that.
I bought a cheap blasting cabinet off Ebay and totally dismantled the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) to blast each individual Engine case which I then washed in hot soapy water and cleaned with a high pressure water cleaner to remove all traces of the blasting media.
