This is one of the old school buggies I'm restoring. She sports a pretty snappy type 1 VW with dual 45 Delartos. A real hill shooter that is a blast to wheelie.

Good to hear from you also Turbo.

As far as two toning the rail yellow & purple................I'll let you keep that signature look.

I'm going to try to make it down for at least a Sat. ride, maybe more.
I'm working real hard to get #2 sand rail online.
Just put a disk brake kit on the rear today. New hydr. brake/clutch/ throttle peddle set on a slider to allow my short girlfriend to drive it.
New coil over shocks & improved mounts.
Much more to do!!!!

Thanks Hoser,
Yes they certainly are. I'd drove a few of my friends back when I was heavy into the FLs but they really didn't intrest me then as I really liked the ultra light solo ride best. Today I'm taking a different direction in a attempt to slow down to Mach one, pop some wheelies, shoot & roost over some dunes and at times share the experience with someone. I have another new flame in my life that really enjoys what I like to do so the spare seat is often filled. I hope to have sand rail # 2 on the dunes this weekend for her to try out. I'll post a write up and pic. soon in Projects.

This is my first attempt to manufacture a double decker atv hauler. I started with a 20ft. flatbed trailer I had. I welded some new stakebed pockets to recieve the second deck. It's a bolt on setup that can be easily removed from the trailer if need be. I took three old aluminum scaffold planks, cut one in half and grafted one half to one full plank to make a total length of 10ft. This makes for a nice ramp to get to the top deck as well as loading the sand rail on the bottom. They stow on the sides. This is a secondary measure to retain the lower load if there is a strap failure as well as a secure way to prevent theft of the quads when parked. I have a ladder/brace at the front of the trailer. Maiden voyage for this rig will be this weekend. (Computer printer on the trailer is not part of the load)
