I like the clutch cover where did you get it?

All 102c clutches should have one.

Jim, Is there a reson the forward head stud is shorter than the rest. I also curious about the rest of the studs, there is a lot of threads showing. DId you use stock studs or did they supplie you with new ones. Since the decked the jug was just curious if the nuts bottom out on the studs when torgued. I can not wait to see and hear it run. Can you post up a video of the first fire so I/ WE can see and hear it run.

WOW WOW, man that thing should run like a raped ape. 178 psi. that's a lot of compression, pump gas huh?
I wonder at what psi you need a higher octane?

Beautiful work Jim, patients pays.

Is the bottom filter glass by chance? Thanks for the information on his heads, I visited his site today-what size dome did you get for that motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) from him?Very nice ride you have there, I love the clean, crisp look you have achieved on it,very neat and clean fitment on everything.

Hey Mudbogger, Trevor lowered the cc's on my head down to 36. When I get the correct head studs, I will install the head and do a compression check and let you know high it is. With Jim's decked cylinder, you can compare the compression rate to mine with the stock ctlinder.

I'm just sitting back and taking in all of the sweet modifications you guys are doing. Next season I may get a wild hair up my ass and strip mine down and make it pretty! Gonna have too much fun scratching it up first though!

I'm seriously thinking of the jacketed cylinder idea. Maybe then I can get rid of the cooling fan behind the seat.

Rand I come up with + .66 correction to the CR based on head volume alone from 39 cc to 36 cc for the 80mm bore. When you post up static # will be interesting the interpolation of CR based on correction factor in CR. The only variable is the gaskets used and ex port change. I have looked both yours and jim's gasket Numbers posted. I also have pics of the heads and domes. Post up pic of your dome when you get it if you would. Thanks.

Remember Jim's is a arts and yours a wiseco which has around 3 cc more piston crown volume which will add a + .66 to the correction factor for a total of 1.32 and if you were running an water cooled 39cc head and use the 36cc head ( new hillside) be aware of the effect on CR I factored in you set up and clearences.

Rand:
Deck .060
Head gasket .004
Base gasket .020

static compression 114
Stock head 39 cc
Stock ex port timing ? Measure from top of cylinder to top of exhaust port opening. Measure down form piston crown to top ring land ( grove).

Note:

the wiseco is .24mm taller than arts at the crown edge. This will add around 1.4 cc's
to the volume of the piston above rod center. this takes the correction factor to 1.32 + .33 =1.65 total correction in CR

68 x 80 + 341.81 cc, swept volume ( uncorrected)

341.81/68=5.02661 volume per mm of stroke

5.02661 x .28=1.40745 more cc's of volume for correction

Note: Jim's new deck .061 - .035 = .026 new deck. What head gasket ?
The diff for a CR correction this would be + 1.13 in CR. Do some comparing on the numbers, UM.
What would happen IF Jim took this to wiseco 80.25 from an arts, UM.

the ring land is taller on the Honda by .08 mm so the land area volume is different as well. I have no data on land volume at this time to share for future correction, sorry. The ring land from rod center and land area effect CR by Volume and correct swept volume.

By reading the data one can see why the statement of " the wiseco adds performance" that time to time we here about. It effect the swept volume and CR. The diff also effect the squish clearance just by a very small amount. Now couple that with the thinner head gasket and the Engine response is noticeable and felt. Still a arts fan though.

Sorry for the jacking Jim, trying to stay up with the changes and there effects.

Thanks for sharing the info I find it interesting.
