 Post subject: custom side panels

has anyone made there own side panels for the 350s..to fill in the area by the shifter and the e-brake..here is my first attempt at it with fiberglass..think i might have to start over again..there not fitting quit like i was hoping
right side..just glass no bondo

if anyone else has suggestions on what they did. i am all ears..also think i might try and make a hood for my feet

Suggestion, if you start over flip your ODY on its side, cover the area you want to cover with the fiberglass with plastic wrap, use many layers its going to support the fiber glass while its curing, on a long open span you might even want to first put some duct tape across for support, once covered with plastic wrap that is your mold, glass it let cure remove and tweak it, sand bondo paint etc.

I went to Signs Now and asked if they had any old signs. They GAVE me a huge piece of an old plastic bank sign. I cut my hood out covered it with some red model air plane covering that matchs the Honda red pretty good.

that's kind of what i did. i wrapped the area in an old t-shirt and glass it..
