Well, after another late night session of drunken E-bay chicken i've found myself my next project pilot, this one is not as bad as the last one and is going to get used for a few months before a complete winter strip-down and re-build.
Everything seems to be in relatively good order, but it needs the A-arm sperical bearings and seals doing and the clutch and belt are worn, but all the parts needed were supplied with it when i picked it up, so a little work and lots of powdercoating to do but nothing major, happy days!!
The clutch supplied is a
powerbloc which i have not got any experience with, so if anybody out there can advise as to how many weights i need to put in to get me started, i'm listening. its a bog standard machine and will be used for general trail riding so i would like it to have a similar take-up to the factory clutch.
Also what are Dayco belts like as they are thinner than the OEM belt straight out of the packet, i know nothing is better than the honda part but are the Dayco's good to use??
