Been awhile since I did anything worth posting so here are a few pics of things I have done. Got the grease fittings in the knuckles also but no pics of that yet.

http://www.lsracing.com/aarm-rebuild-hardware.htm

The boots are the same on all the rebuild there p/n 21p00512. I wasn't sure if they would even work. I kept the old ones and put rtv on them for spares. The clips that come with them I couldnt get to go on so I used stainless safety wire and a twister tool to hold them on. If you look in the pics you will see it. Used a grease gun needle to fill them up after. Then moved it all around to work out excess.

Sand those driven clutch faces smooth and you can get them like most the plating is coming off and they are rusting.

We need to find someone that can strip the plating off the clutches, buff the faces smooth then plate them again, not sure exactly what the plating is they put on them assume its nickle ?

Wonder if their is a ceramic coating that can be baked on that would hold up like the chrome did against the belt abrasion?

Not sure if chrome would hurt anything I suppose at this point anything other than rust would be good? I wish I knew exactly what the plating was from the factory.

I wouldn't have a clue on the type of finish. I think I will look into having it hard chromed.

Remember when you were a kid and stitches was cool well stitches are cool on plastic too. :-)

Run over it gently with a buffer and polishing compound it will look 150% better in minutes be careful the plastic melts easy keep moving and apply no pressure.

Use safety wire they are much less noticeable than zip ties and you only need a real small hole.
