Monday after work pulled the carb pretty scumy soaked it in carb cleaner took a couple of hours but it came out good.
Last night I removed fuel tank cleaned it out good, also fuel pump and filter.
Today put in fresh gas 20-1 new battery and it came to life.
It is running a little fat but the old girl sat for some time.
I am going to run it for a while before I try to change any jetting.

Hello,

Congrats on the new oddy......
What oil are you running? I ask because you are running 20:1......I know the honda brand 2 stroke pre-mix is to be run at 32:1.....could that could be why you are running rich....

Just a thought.....

Castrol 2 cycle oil we use it in our chain saws at work with good results.
I know 20-1 is a little heavy but I wanted to be on the safe side.
After the first tank I will go to 32-1.

adding more oil to your gas makes you run lean... more oil in the fuel means less overall pure gas through your jets.. so you are lean on fuel and heavy on oil...

The new fl350 is at my sons on the Sunshine Coast he has 5 acres I don't have much room at my house a small garage that keeps my sunbeam tiger nice and warm, and a place to race my slot cars.

that's a nice slot car set-up. I remember playing all weekend with mine when I was a kid.

This is a carrera 1/32 digital set up, 2 lane changing tracks, run up to four cars and 2 ghost cars all on 2 lanes all 6 cars can be in same lane switch lanes to pass.
The ghost cars are run by the computer the other 4 cars have controllers and each car has a chip in it that you can match to control a button on top of control so you can change lanes. It is a cool set a lot of fun, for young kids you can program cars to have a slower top speed so they can keep them on the track.
