I used the 400ex spindles, rotors, calipers on mine, with a set of triple rate works 16.5" shocks on my +2 a arm set up. I left the shock mounts in the stock location on the a arm and ended up with 8.5" travel. If I move the lower shock mount inboard and reposition the upper then I would be good for around 12" before the ball joints bind. You will definitely need either a bump steer set up of a rack and pinion. I had about 4" bump steer with the stock steering linkage. If I could find a rack and pinion it would be installed, instead I have been working on a bump steer set up. To many moving parts IMO.
How much longer over stock are your a arm that you will be using?
