Hey there. I'm in need of replacement fenders. I know of this website that makes them, but there on the pricey side.

Has anyone made there own fenders? Perhaps something modified from an existing four wheeler? I have found someone mentioning modifying Yamaha warrior front fenders. below:

Share pic's if ya have some.

Not to many here like chickennuts site. You may have noticed that when you type in the web site here it automatically comes up chucklenuts motorspurts. This site admin here don't like him either. My brother bought an intake manifold from chickennuts and it don't fit unless you do a re&re and it also leaked air because the base for the rubber is to small blah blah blah you get the picture. Anyways back to the fenders. I believe you can use fenders from a banshee but you have to make your own brackets. Also the stock oddy fender is attached snuggly to the floor pan so mud don't splash in and the banshee fender don't do this. If you still have your damaged fenders you can do what I did when my brother crashed his machine hard and smashed all four fenders. I took them to a plastic shop that builds tanks and they repaired them. Pricey but it works and is cheaper than chickennuts.

Didnt someone here mount some quad fenders on his 350?

All I remember was they were black....and mounted pretty easily....and looked pretty good.....that's it.

I think you may be thinking this post viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6759&start=0&hilit=banshee+fenders
I have a set of front 1998 banshee fenders but have not mounted them.

By the way Dunerunner is long gone and has not been on this site since 2010.
But if you click on the pictures tabs you can see how he mounted the banshee fenders.
I cut and paste these pics to word pad but you can see that on the front fenders mud and poo can get into the cockpit. That area will require some fab.

Pretty sure the Steve at chucklenuts at aftershot motorspurts ordered a boatload of fenders made by Maier. Had to order a big lot in order to amortize the tool costs and still make the fenders reasonably affordable. Thought I read that on the good ol' reliable interweb somewhere.

I love bolt on goodies, but I cant justify paying $180 per fender from chucklenuts at aftershot motorspurts. Wish there was a bike boneyard near me so I can wonder around and find some fenders that I could mod. Banshee fender look like there worth a try.

I do have two severely damaged FL350 fenders. Ironically a Front Right and a Rear Left. I thought about zip tieing the several cracks and make it look like stitches. But then I still need to find perhaps another damaged front and rear fender.

Anyone have any salvageable: Front Left or Rear Right, broken fenders they want to sell?
