I picked up this project about a year ago off craigslist. At the time it was just a rolling a chassis, no Engine, no cage. Over the past year we picked up a sled for the 500cc Rotax, shoehorned it into the frame, and built a cage. I’ve been a longtime lurker here, but never had much to contribute, I figured I should share my new build. I need a name for this project, I usually come up with names pretty easily, but I’ve got no ideas for this one....

That’s odd, they seemed to be working on my end, but here’s the links. Sometimes I mess up the simplest posts, thanks for the heads up!

Now it works for me. Thx.
I see lots of interesting projects in that shop.
I see:
1) Another FL350 in there
2) A quad ATV frame
3) Street bike (vintage ?) (Custom ?)
4) Mini buggy just outside the door but could be just a lawn mower though LOL
5) Large mud bogger tires --- possibly for a off road only 4x4 or mud racer

Keen eye...yes, there is another FL350 in the background. We're doing a very similar build on it with another Rotax 500. It's getting a front suspension off a Honda ex400, and we're trying to figure out the brakes now. The quad frame was the ex400 suspension donor. Custom street bike, it's like an early 90's Honda 750 that my cousin has customized, not sure all the details. He was building a "rock crawler" lawnmower, that's what the bogger tires and mini buggy was, but that project got abandoned.

I'll post some of the other FL350, but the build is so similar I didn't see a point in it being another thread.

It’s alive.... and mean!!! Still a lot of work to do, but it is driving under its own power now. For some reason it seems like when I do the “YouTube hyperlink” with the thumbnail it does t work, so I put just the url link below as well. Hope y’all enjoy it, this has been on of my funnest projects yet!

Babies are a lot of work! We just had our second son in Nov, and my fl350 project has been neglected.... anyhow, trying to get back on it, here’s another video of where we are on the project.

Looking good.
2 FL350's are always better than one.

And I might be interested in the pile of parts you have there :)

good job guys, looks like you are having fun and that's what it all about, I would suggest making the seat belts a number 1 priority along with the soulder harness, roll one all belted in and no big deal, without and who knows. brakes would be a good addition too :-)

You’re right. We’re getting the brakes, belts, and wrist restraints in before we drive them anymore.
