I have been lurking on here for a while now as I had a 1979 fl250 about 25 years ago and a Pilot in the early 90's. My buddy just got a new 4x4 artic cat and wants me to ride so........good reason to build a fl350. TRX 450R front and a Rotax 470. Will post pics as we build.
this is the first setup on the front , to wide and didn't like it haning off the front like that

This is more like it

Nice build, you will love the torque that Engine will make, your thumb will not like those carbs, if you switch over to the watercraft carbs the thumb pull will be a lot less.

Zoom zoom ! :-)

I like the aluminum cover that replaces the 2 plastic halves for the steering column. You should make some up and sell them!

The cover is made of sheet metal, we did that because we moved the steering column up for more room.

I'll get the part number, I run it on my golf cart with a briggs v-twin, you can run the green wire to the coil or it has a inductive pickup that clamps to a plug wire.

The part number is 8068. Also have a new winch (promark 2500 lb.rope), and the fenders came in today as well. We will be making removable side panel as well as a hood. They will be fastened with dzus fasteners.

Thanks for the number. Will you be using the green wire to the coil or the inductive pickup?

I cannot take the credit for the fab work as my good friend Bob Parrott has done 90% of the fab work, he is very talented.
