Be careful with those tachs. I dropped 1 today when installing it and it broke pretty easily, they are only plastic. I was curious as to how your planning on hooking up the tach wire? I used the green wire to the coil (not the spark plug brown wire)but are unsure as to which side of the coil to mount it too, the instructions say the "negative" side it. I am too assume this is green wire or the black/yellow?

Very impressed with the fabbing skills and just overall performance and attention to detail on the project.!!

Sorry to hear about thr tach Mud, I have been using one for two years on my golf cart with no problems, if it dosn't work no problem, will get a different one, like a
Shindy Digital Tachometer. As far as the hookup, are you running a rotax or a 350? I don't know what the stock harness colors are.
Here some pics of my golf cart, long travel front, briggs 18hp v-twin, 4 wheel hyd. disc brakes.

Nice cart indeed!
I am running stock Pilot internal combustion Engine and harness. I connected my green line to the black/yellow wire off the coil, or the pulse line as termed in the Pilot schematic.I cannot tell if this tach works as currently the internal combustion Engine is out for a rebuild.

The frame is at the coaters, it was finished yesterday, I didn't have time to get it back, it is fire Engine red. All of the a-arms and trailing arms are metalic silver and the rest is a metalic black. The side panels and hood are white. Mud, did you get your tach working alright?

Got it finished yesterday and took it for a short ride, OMG is it fast, love the torque, you can steer it with the throttle, the front suspention works fantastic, the brakes are not bad, rear locks up if you need it to front will stop it, together I'm happy with them both.
full skids, arms and bottom

Niiiiiiiiice indeed! That's a very, very clean sled-powered Oddysey. Looks like a 2012 model that just left the showroom! Well done.

Mr. Hill,

You're doing a fine job there but I'm gonna have to ask you to stop. I'll need you to come over here to my place for a few weeks. Once you've made mine look that nice you'll be free to go back to work on yours.

Please be here my Tuesday 9am

I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Just thought I would let you guys know how this thing is doing so here goes, after riding it a couple of miles I noticed it did not like to restart and acted like it was flooded, after a week of trying to fix this we discovered that we HAVE to run a fuel pump because the wieght of the fuel will push the needle off the seat from the weight and fuel and will run into the Engine. We then found the compression was real low in one cylinder so I sent it to be rebuilt, and it had both cylinders bored with new pistons and rings and every bearing and I mean EVERY bearing was replaced. Got it back together a couple of days ago and everything seems fine, it runs alot better than before, starts easy, love it, just have to quit riding on the blacktop as not to tear up the tires so much....... Hopefully will have vids coming in a couple of days.

Pretty sweet ride.

Am I the only one that thought the end of the muffler looks like the bottom of a coffee can?

Wow this is awesome! How wide was it in the front prior to you re-doing the a-arm location? I am in the middle of doing this myself and did notice it will be a bit wider in the front than the back. I was just going to use spacers in the back maybe. Did you only not like the looks of it or didn't feel it would work as well as your current setup? Great job on this FL350! One of the nicest ones I have seen on here.
