I was riding my two pilots today with my buddy and my buddy was running the pilot i just bought and i was riding the one i had just recently restored. Tim my buddy was jumping is over a small mound and started slidding and ened up NEXT TO A TREE AND DID SERVE DAMAGE TO THE FRAME! So we decided since we have to strip the frame before we send it to a fab shop I decided i would just restore it like my other pilot i just did whitch turned out amazing

If your going to continue to let your buddy drive it,why not just fix the trailing arm and ride it?

I know accidents happen and are just that, but I would want to ring his d@mn neck for this. That is the problem with lending anything out, people have no respect these days. I swear every time I loan my trailer to a "friend" it always comes back with one issue or another. These machines handle extremely well and IMO most likely gives most newbys a false sense of security, which intern causes them to ride over their head.

My best friend for over 25 yrs always broke everything of mine that he borrowed starting with my extra BMX when we were kids. He bent handle bars and rims etc. Then I got older and he would want to ride one of my quads or dirtbikes he would bring it back with the bars bent and all scratched up from crashing. Now that I have this nice Pilot. Two words "Hell NO!!" What he doesnt understand it that these parts are getting irreplacable. He always payed for the parts to fix in the past but now you cant even get some of them for this. We all want to have fun but you cant take it for a ride like Dukes of Hazzard and just pull out a new one when you break it from the 100 that you have sitting in the back lot of the studio. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck.

Be glad he didn't run the frame into the Engine cases...that could have been much worse and more expensive.

So now you have to ride alone because no one can borrow it?
