The bottom section is a fl250. i would guess 77 or 78. the rest looks to be home made.

Here is a pic of the suspension.

Also it looks like the front end bar on your fl250 has been hacked. Can you post some good pics of the front of your frame?

I can hook you up with most the parts you need.

You will need FL250 J-arms, spindles, hubs and shocks if you want to go with a stock front end.

example....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1977-1984-HONDA ... ce&vxp=mtr" .".." ."..

Search ebay for fl250 j arm. all kinda hits. Be careful buying used this stuff is getting old.

The J arms have a inner and a outer bushing in the short round tube that goes over the round tube on the frame and buying used the bsuhings could be worn out. also ther is a king pin that connects the spinlde to the j arm. Most of the king pins have wear and there are bushings in the spindle were the king pin goes. then there is the hud that the wheel bolts to it has bearings that ride on the spindle and most of the time the bearings are shot.

clymer make a pretty good manual for the fl 250 lot of pictures.

and I have not even mentioned all the steering compnents.

Don't let it over whelm you. i'm not sure what you goal is but honda make a pretty tough front end on th fl250. Just need to keep it greased weel.

bighead we were typing at the same time.

I startted with a 77 fl250 - still lhave it. did a complete rebuild. did not take me long to find out it beat me to death. I decided to jump to the pilot - man what a difference. still ride the 250 just not as long or as much.

Some day I will have a pilot. Until I get one, I got this for some fun. This thing is so small and lite it's a real kick in the pants. It still beats you to death but get around a flat track well.

Yah man that will have to be fixed. that's really bad man. IDK. I have few spare frames. Maybe there is a way to cut one off and reweld it in. Never did it before but I am sure it can be done. Regardless you need to fix that front end. I would not try to ride it like that friend.
