After 5 weeks I probably be unemployed & unmarried...

Only problem with Moab is that unless we are going to LS, UT its to far out of the way...

I was trying to break up some of the long drive sections...
Maybe we should just try plan B

Rock Springs, WY – (Killpecker Sand Dunes – 11,500 acres) --> 3 days
Drive 6 hrs
Parker, ID – (St. Anthony Sand Dunes – 11,000 acres) --> 7 days
Drive 6 hrs
Rock Springs, WY – (Killpecker Sand Dunes – 11,500 acres) --> 2 days
Drive 3.5
Walden, CO – (North Sand Hills 700 acres) --> 2 days

I've been keeping Walden in the mix because I was told they had some trails going from the dunes up the mountain
some mountin trials would be a good change from the big dunes....
It would also help break up the long drive back east for some of us....

What Dates work - Lets Nail it down - Only 12 weeks away
Does May 28 - June 10 work ???

Guess we would all plan to be at Killpecker by May 29 or so....

PS
Anyone know where I can get a 7x14 enclosed without loosing my pants
GA, FL, OH got them for around $4K here they want $5.5K+

Dennis

The dates work for me, except I will be finishing changing all missile launch codes until around the 28th of May and can not leave until that's done but I can catch up quickly. Fed is getting his leave(vacation) put in too. Any of the flatlanders are welcome to stop and rest at my place on the way thru. Walden is about 1.5 hrs from my place and Rock Springs is 4.5 or so, just so you know. I am really getting pumped up for this ride!

That sounds good, Dennis, Hoser, and maybe others would be coming right by your place, so it might well be a good layover spot.

Well I want to go to....BUT I will not be able to if the house doesn't sell. Can't afford to take off 2 days let alone 2 weeks! I'm going to be hanging out at St.Joes a lot this year till things break loose for me. I've already built (read framed!) 5 houses this year on the side so If that keeps up I can prolly swing the ride without the house selling although I might be beat half to death in my sleep by you-know-who! No LMAO here, no sir re!

Cross your fingers for me!

<Snip>

Christ Tom many of us are turning 40 this year...
Its time for a small mid-life crisis...

Tell everyone you are taking 2 weeks off to enjoy yourself while you still can...
Everything will be just fine - Time goes by way to damn fast and you can't make it up

I hope you can find a way to join us...
(Heck I was planning feeding you some beers so we can hear some more stories...)

Later
Dennis

Well some of us (ME!) already turned 40!

I want to have a mid life crisis but just can't afford it! C-R-A-P!!! I'll be saving up for one.

I am, though, extremely optimistic!

Stories??? Boy do I have some stories!
